§ Terms

The rules of using Wanderline.

These are the terms of using Wanderline. They're written in plain language. If anything is unclear, the contact address is at the bottom.

§ 1 — What Wanderline does

Wanderline is a travel planning assistant. The agent helps you brainstorm trip shapes, search across modes (flights, rail, overland), narrow down where to stay by neighborhood, and ingest booking confirmations into a single timeline.

Wanderline does not sell flights, hotels, or activities. When you're ready to book, you click out to the operator that runs the inventory — Booking.com, Kiwi.com, Aviasales, GetYourGuide, and others. Your transaction is with them. Wanderline is not a party to it.

§ 2 — Your account

You need an account to use Wanderline. By creating one, you agree:

  • The email you use is yours.
  • You'll keep your password safe.
  • You won't impersonate someone else.
  • You're at least 13 years old.

If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, email security@wanderline.app and we'll lock it.

§ 3 — Acceptable use

Don't use Wanderline to:

  • Plan or facilitate anything illegal.
  • Harass other users.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the agent.
  • Attempt to extract data about other users.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this clause without prior notice.

§ 4 — Your data

You retain ownership of the content you put into Wanderline — trips you create, notes you write, documents you upload. By creating that content, you grant Wanderline a non-exclusive license to store, process, and display it back to you in the app.

We don't claim copyright over your trip plans.

If you connect Gmail, the data we read from your inbox is covered separately in the Privacy Policy.

§ 5 — Affiliate links

Some outbound booking links on Wanderline contain an affiliate identifier. If you book through one of these links, the operator (Booking, Kiwi, GetYourGuide, etc.) may pay Wanderline a small commission.

This does not affect the price you pay and does not influence what Wanderline recommends — the agent has no knowledge of which partners pay more.

§ 6 — No warranty

Wanderline is in private beta. The agent can make mistakes — wrong dates, wrong cities, hallucinated routings. Always verify critical details (flight numbers, check-in dates, visa requirements, passport validity) before relying on them for a real trip.

Wanderline is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We're not responsible for missed flights, overbooked hotels, or trip plans that turn out to be impossible.

§ 7 — Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Wanderline's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you've paid Wanderline in the previous twelve months. Wanderline is currently free, so this number is zero.

§ 8 — Service availability

Wanderline is a small, indie project on commodity hosting. We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee it. Scheduled maintenance and occasional outages happen.

§ 9 — Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we do, the change will be visible at the top of this page (last-updated date), and the previous version is available on request from hello@wanderline.app.

§ 10 — Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America. Any disputes will be brought in the appropriate courts of the State of California. If you're in a jurisdiction with stronger consumer protections, those protections still apply where they conflict with this clause.
